Throughout these Terms & Conditions, references to "we", "us" and "our" mean EV CABLES UK GROUP LTD trading as EV Cables UK. References to "you" and "your" mean the customer purchasing products from us.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By placing an order through our Website, you confirm that:
• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
• The information you provide is accurate and complete.
• You agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, you should not place an order through our Website.
3. Our Products
We specialise in the supply of portable electric vehicle charging equipment and related accessories.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images and pricing are accurate. However, product images are provided for illustrative purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual product supplied.
Manufacturers may make minor improvements or modifications to products without prior notice, provided these changes do not materially affect the product's intended function or performance.
4. Vehicle Compatibility
It is your responsibility to ensure that the product you purchase is suitable for your vehicle and intended use.
Before placing an order, you should check, where applicable:
• Vehicle connector type (Type 1 or Type 2)
• Charging socket compatibility
• Charging current
• Charging voltage
• Cable length
• Domestic socket suitability
• Vehicle manufacturer's charging recommendations
If you are unsure whether a product is suitable, please contact us before placing your order. We are happy to assist with compatibility enquiries, but the final purchasing decision remains your responsibility.
5. Safe Use
Our products must be used in accordance with the supplied user manual, all safety instructions and any applicable electrical regulations.
You should always:

• Stop using the product immediately if any damage is found.
• Use only suitable electrical outlets.
• Never modify or repair the product unless authorised by the manufacturer.
• Keep the product clean and stored appropriately when not in use.
Improper use of electrical charging equipment may result in injury, damage to property or damage to your vehicle.
We accept no liability for loss or damage arising from misuse, unauthorised modification, improper installation or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
6. Product Compliance
Where applicable, our products are supplied with documentation demonstrating compliance with relevant legislation and recognised industry standards.
Copies of compliance documentation may be made available upon reasonable request where appropriate.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer.
7. Pricing
All prices displayed on our Website are shown in Pounds Sterling (£).
Prices include VAT where applicable. If we are not VAT registered at the time of your purchase, VAT will not be charged.
We reserve the right to amend prices at any time. However, any price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
If an obvious pricing error has occurred, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund.
8. Product Availability
All products are offered subject to availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to offer:
• An alternative product;
• A revised delivery date; or
• A full refund.
9. Orders and Contract Formation
When you place an order through our Website, you are making an offer to purchase goods.
After your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order.
A legally binding contract is formed only when payment has been authorised and your order has been dispatched.

Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched.

All online payments are processed securely by our authorised payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details.
11. Delivery
Delivery options, charges and estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout.
Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
We shall not be liable for delays caused by courier services, weather conditions, customs processes, industrial action or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Risk in the goods passes to you once the goods have been delivered to the delivery address provided with your order.
Ownership of the goods remains with EV CABLES UK GROUP LTD until payment has been received in full.
12. Cancellations
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us by email at [sales@evcablesuk.com](mailto:sales@evcablesuk.com) before the cancellation period expires.
Returned products must be sent back within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation.
You are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items unless otherwise agreed.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving satisfactory evidence that they have been returned.
Your statutory cancellation rights do not apply to products that have been personalised or otherwise exempt under applicable consumer legislation.

Nothing within our Returns Policy affects your statutory rights.
14. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If you receive goods that are faulty, damaged in transit or incorrect, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible.

If a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights. This may include:

A manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights and does not replace or reduce those rights.
Warranty claims may require the product to be inspected before a repair or replacement can be authorised.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

Our total liability arising from any order shall not exceed the purchase price of the products supplied, except where prohibited by law.
